Human Resource Manager Job Description:

North Texas and award winning residential Assisted Living organization is expanding and seeking a dynamic, energetic and inspirational Human Resource Manager. Based on existing and projected growth the Human Resource Manager will play a critical role in shaping the environment for all employees. The Human Resource Manager position has the opportunity to expand along with the organization.
The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for all areas of the Human Resource function but not limited to: recruitment, benefits, leadership, compensation, diversity, employee relations, employee development, compliance, timekeeping, and leave administration. The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for visiting the facilities in Collin County and the mid-city area.
Human Resource Manager Job Responsibilities:

-Ensure progressive discipline and terminations are consistent and appropriate
-Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns
-Administer, interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations
-Prepare and maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system
-Develop and/or implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs
-Assist and oversee new employee orientations and process hiring-related paperwork
-Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed
-Ensures timely and consistent entry of salaried and hourly payroll and payroll data
-Monitors for the consistency in application of policies and procedures and compliance with governmental regulations, IE., Department of Labor
-Manage any Texas Workforce Commission or employee related claims
-Assists in promoting training for all employees (hourly and salaried) are being met and are consistent with company needs
-Helps to provide counseling/coaching for all employees including management and supervisors regarding employee relations matters
-Manages all aspects of leave administration in conjunction with the company’s policies including discussions with employees going out on leave, proper documentation, related questions or concerns, and tracking of time away
-Provides reports, analysis, action plans and documentation to corporate departments as required
-Provide presentation and training to employees within groups or facility
-Will perform other duties as assigned

Human Resource Manager Job Requirements:

-BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field required.
-A minimum of 5 years of Human Resource Generalist experience in a healthcare senior care related environment such as: Hospital, Assisted Living, or Hospice.
-PHR or SPHR preferred
-Sound Human Resource Management experience in metrics and a broad general knowledge of principle/practices of Human Resource Management
-Strong communication, organizational, managerial, and analytical skills
-Advanced computer skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Outlook

Salary Range for the Human Resource Manager is from $65k-$70k annually.
